APHRODITE
QUEEN OF ATLANTIS
A FORBIDDEN LOVE STORY
Aphrodite and Poseidon, the last Queen of Atlantis and the powerful God of the Seas.
Bound by their love for each other and their child, they defied the wishes of Zeus and the Olympians, creating a tale of passion and heartache that has spanned millennia.
When Stars Align
In the halcyon days of Atlantis, when the resplendent city still glittered with prosperity and enchantment, Poseidon and Aphrodite, two celestial beings of unparalleled allure, chose to dwell in the secluded recesses of the island, far from the curious gaze of its inhabitants. Disguised in mortal form, the divine lovers endeavored to maintain a low profile, their heavenly origins shrouded in mystery as they reveled in the tender simplicity of a clandestine romance.
A QUEEN TO SAVE ATLANTIS
In the fading splendor of Atlantis, where the decay and infighting cast a dark shadow over its once-peaceful cities, divine lovers Poseidon and Aphrodite found themselves drawn into a desperate scheme. It was Poseidon, wise and concerned for the mortal world, who proposed the idea, knowing all too well the influence his beloved could wield. Reluctantly, Aphrodite agreed to assume the guise of a mortal and take on the role of Queen, hoping to restore the harmony that had long been lost. As she embarked on this selfless endeavor, her tender grace began to weave together the fractured threads of unity among the people, a task she undertook with the weight of the world on her divine shoulders.
The Forbidden Child: The Birth of Atlas
In time, Poseidon and Aphrodite’s secret love produced a unique offspring: Atlas, a pure Olympian God whose very existence threatened the balance of power among the Olympians. Fearing for his safety, Atlas was sent through a portal, hidden from Zeus and the other gods. The events that followed have been shrouded in mystery and buried deep within the annals of Greek mythology.
The Secret Marriage:
Defying Zeus and Olympus
While the Greek Gods were notorious for their infidelities, Aphrodite and Poseidon were a rare exception. Contrary to popular belief, they were secretly married before Atlantis fell, despite the disapproval of Zeus and the other Olympians. Greek mythology may have spun stories of their alleged indiscretions, but the truth paints a different picture – one of unwavering devotion and longing for their lost son, Atlas.
The Myth and The Muse:
Aphrodite's Undying Love
Aphrodite's supposed adventures and dalliances were likely fabricated to sell scrolls and entertain audiences. But her true love story reveals a steadfast and faithful goddess who has never forgotten her only child, Atlas. Despite her reputation as a seductress, Aphrodite would always claim loyalty to her one true love, Poseidon.
A Mother's Quest
The eternal search for Atlas fast forwards to the year 2126. The Greek Gods of antiquity have long vanished, but the enduring love of a mother knows no bounds. Almost twelve thousand years after their separation, she still searches for him.
